Beer
Our specialty enzymes are ideal for producing low-carbohydrate beer. We also have a range of enzymes that add richness to beer.
Overview
In recent years, there has been a rise in the popularity of low-carbohydrate, non-alcoholic, and low-alcohol beers as people pursue healthier lifestyles. Amano’s specialty enzymes make it possible to produce these types of beers. Amano also provides non-GM brewing enzymes.
Solutions of Amano Enzyme
Low-alcohol beer with a rich taste.
Low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beers are produced by vacuum distillation but excessive vacuum distillation can damage the beer’s flavor.
Transglucosidase L “Amano” 3S produces isomaltooligosaccharides (IMOs) during mashing, resulting in a richer taste for low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beer. Moreover, IMOs are not fermented by brewer’s yeast, resulting in a lower alcohol content.
Specialty enzymes for more efficient fermentation.
In addition to our Transglucosidase L “Amano” 3S, other enzymes such as Alpha amylase and Glucoamylase are utilized in beer production. Contact us for additional information.
