27th Enzyme Application Symposium Held in Kitanagoya, Japan | Amano Enzyme Science and Technology Foundation

The Amano Enzyme Science and Technology Foundation held the 27th Enzyme Application Symposium on Friday, June 12, at the Amano Enzyme Jizendo Hall in Kitanagoya, Japan.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all participants who attended the symposium.

The symposium began with an award ceremony for this year’s seven Research Encouragement Award recipients. Certificates were presented by Professor Jun Ogawa of Kyoto University, Chair of the Selection Committee.

Following the ceremony, the award recipients delivered seven research lectures, sharing their latest achievements and insights in enzyme application research.

The program also featured three special lectures by distinguished speakers from Japan and overseas.

Each lecture was followed by active Q&A sessions, creating an engaging and lively atmosphere throughout the symposium.

This year, the foundation continued its efforts to support smooth communication among both domestic and international participants. A bilingual Japanese-English abstract booklet was provided, along with simultaneous Japanese-English interpretation.

The networking reception held after the lectures also offered a valuable opportunity for participants from academia and industry to exchange ideas across different fields, organizations, and generations.

We were pleased to receive many positive comments from participants and sincerely appreciate the support and cooperation of everyone who contributed to the success of the symposium.

The next Enzyme Application Symposium is scheduled to be held on Friday, June 18, 2027.
